Overview of Outdoor Idea

We want to get you on the river. Our mission is to open up Hudson River access, especially on its under-served west shore, by making it easy and free, and to bring public awareness to the river by getting a critical mass out on the water. We'll organize and lead weekly day trips, cum picnic lunch.

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

The $5000 will fund the purchase of 8 used kayaks with paddles and life jackets (about $300 each on Craigslist or eBay), and a kayak trailer ($2,500) to carry 10 kayaks.
