Overview of Outdoor Idea

Swimming is a great outdoor sport that can be fun for everyone, including children with disabilities. We'd like to host an all-day swim event in our community where able-bodied volunteers would help children with disabilities to learn about swimming and compete in a friendly swim meet.

The Specifics: What will the $5,000 fund?

The funds would pay for pool rental, advertising for the event, ribbons/trophies/t-shirts for each swimmer, t-shirts for each volunteer and lunch/snacks/beverages for everyone participating throughout the day.
